¡Forward, Russia!

The absolute-beginner basics, for latecomers at the back: ¡Forward Russia! formed in Leeds in 2004, from the ashes of other bands that never truly went anywhere; they are Whiskas (guitar), Tom Woodhead (vocals, keys), Katie Nicholls (drums) and Rob Canning (bass).

They released a much-admired debut album, Give Me A Wall, in 2006, and now they’re back with a 20th Anniversary repress. Available on vinyl for the first time since initial release, the package is a limited edition clear 12” with sleeve notes from Steve Lamacq.

Iconic exclamation t-shirts available again in a host of colours to celebrate the GMAW singles, and new rarities collection “A Fearless Guide to Communication” announced on limited CD to accompany the vinyl.
